Why do Pilates?
Pilates is fantastic scheme of exercises that everybody can do and everybody can benefit from. It can also be fun!
The list of things Pilates can help with is endless, but it includes pain in joints and/or muscles, muscle tone, muscle strength, performance in competitive sports, weight loss, flexibility and stress management. You can have your body for you!
To get these benefits however its important to be taught properly and that any exercises are adapted so that they are safe and effective for the person. This is where yourbodyforyou Pilates comes in.
I offer one to one sessions, small group sessions and small community classes. The size of all sessions means that all participants get the exercises they need to achieve their goals and exercise safely.

Hello. I'm Cathy and I run yourbodyforyou. I offer one-to-one and small group Pilates training, and Pilates classes within the community. I am happy to work across Tyne and Wear and the surrounding area in Northumberland and County Durham.
I am a fully qualified Pilates Instructor, insured, trained in emergency first aid and I am on the Register of Exercise professionals, so you can be sure you are exercising with a suitable and qualified person.
